Today I want to talk about turning your obstacles into opportunities. I had another topic this week but I was up late a few nights ago, trying to figure something out and it didn’t work out the way I thought it would, so I went to bed upset as hell and decided to talk about this instead lol. 

I was working on adding my customers into my mailing list so I could email them specifically. I deleted what I did previously, and just knew this two and half hours of work was about to pay off. I read so many MailChimp how-to pages to make sure it would go how I wanted it to. And told myself that being diligent and not letting myself be lazy and rush into it without reading up on it first, was going to give me what I wanted…

And it didn’t. At the end of those 2+ hours, I realized why everything I did wouldn’t work and I was pissed. All of that time for nothing. 

But was it?? 

In the midst of me being upset, I told my friend about what happened and she helped me see that I was still learning, even if it didn’t turn into what I wanted. Which was true; all of those how-to pages weren’t all in vain. And if I ever moved onto another platform, I know what I’d be looking for and the general idea of how to do it, so really it was a win win. 

With that being said my friends, I want you to take a look at what may seem like obstacles in your life, and see the opportunity in them; see how you can make them work in your favor.
